A Great Countrywide First Amendment Rights Demonstration Happened In America August 1, 2012

Yesterday, all across America, thousands upon thousands of traditional value Americans quietly demonstrated for their First Amendment rights.  There was no trashing of buildings or cars.  There was no mooning the police or urinating in the streets.  There was no sitting in obstruction of business or threatening of those in the area.  It was a beautiful, quiet, effective outpouring of support for our First Amendment right to free speech and freedom of religion.  Quietly and effectively the message was spread across this great country that thousands of Americas stand with the Chick-fil-A Corporation’s  right to freedom of speech and freedom to express their religious beliefs.
My attempt  to join the movement of support for Chick-fil-A was thwarted when at 2:30 pm yesterday the location at 83rd Avenue and Bell Road, I could not get near or into the restaurant.  Three policemen were directing traffic into the Chick-fil-A  drive through lane and the establishment.  There was a quiet crowd of 35 or more waiting in line to enter the restaurant.  Many more were walking toward the restaurant after parking further from the area.  It was a wonderful sight to behold.
Later I was informed that the tolerance tyrants, those who bully others who do not believe as they do, will be out in force on Friday.  Unfortunately, the definition of tolerance in the USA today is “I am free to believe what I want to believe and you had better believe it right along with me or else”.   Few have the courage to stand up against the homosexual agenda and when opposite views are voiced, the activist use labels, intimidation and speech that would be called “hate speech if the other side were to use it.  The new tolerance does not believe in freedom of speech, religious freedom or freedom of ideas.  In this case the militant homosexual community expects all Americans to rally for their right to be a special class of people, to change the definition of marriage in America and to approve what they consider as the “new normal”.
Where was the local media?  This is the same press that covered the occupy movement.  Should not a nationwide event of this magnitude be given a reporter to cover this happening across Arizona and America?   Is that not why the new media was established; to report the truth of what is happening whether or not they personally like it or not?  Oh, yes at 6:00 pm on channel 15 the event was give a 5 second mention.  The Arizona Republic could not even do a real piece of journalism on the event but instead the paper used an Associated Press piece that was given less than one fourth of the page in the Valley section of today’s paper.
These same Americans across this great land need to remember their right to choose the next President in the November election and vote to remove the President who supports “same-sex marriage”.   Vote to remove the President whose idea of “hate speech” is speaking out about a wrong.
